Catalonia is an autonomous community in the northeast of Spain comprising four provinces: Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, and Tarragona. Apart from the capital Barcelona, Catalonia is best known for its Mediterranean coast, Costa Brava, with Rosas and Palamos, with terrific ample beaches and mild climate, doubtlessly a first rate touristic attraction. Although it has suffered from development, it still has unspoilt corners, sheltered coves, some of the most attractive scenery in the Mediterranean for a yacht charter.
