The Port Hercules in Monte Carlo hosts, from 27 to 30 September 2017, a new edition of the Mediterranean’s most prestigious yachting event: The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).
Taking place in the principality of Monaco, one of the most favorite destinations for royalty and ultra-rich people, every year, this popular nautical trade show welcomes thousands of high-end clientele and luxury yachting market professionals who come from around the world to discover the latest trends and developments in the nautical sector.
125 fascinating superyachts built by the world’s leading shipyards will be showcased both in port and at-anchor, and, as usual, more than 580 yachting companies will take part in this outstanding event.
Aiming at attracting a larger number of the new generation’s yachting enthusiasts, the show will hold, for the first time, an important exhibition space, on Quai Antoine Ier, that is fully devoted to entertainment equipment, luxury tenders, and trendy water toys.
While some of them will be exhibited on the quay, in the extension of the Dutch HISWA pavilion, others will be exhibited on water, just opposite to Starboard (a new lounge-exhibition which will give renowned companies the opportunity to present the various services they can provide in relation to superyacht lifestyle).
Apart from the outstanding luxury superyachts, water toys, and tenders on exhibition, the MYS will also dedicate a private zone to luxury-car fans. The area will welcome at least fifteen prestige cars designed by some of the world’s most distinguished automobile brands, and test drives will be available, on this occasion, for the show’s clientele.
As for the Monaco Yacht Show Awards, winners of the 4th edition will be announced at the inaugural ceremony of the show, on September, 27th. Four luxury superyachts will be selected by a jury of well-known yachting journalists and the awards will be as follows:
- The MYS/RINA Award
- The MYS Interior Design Award
- The MYS Exterior Design Award
- The MYS 2017 Finest New Superyacht Award
