Nassau, the capital city of the Bahamas, is located on the island of New Providence and is only 290 km southeast of Miami, Florida. Nassau features a tropical climate with relatively consistent temperatures throughout the course of the year. Summertime temperatures reach about 32°C (90°F)) and the winter months have daytime temperatures around 25°C (77°F), rarely falling below 15°C (59°F).
