Grand Soleil, also Cantiere del Pardo, was established in 1974 at the city of music ; Bologna, Italy. The Italian yachts manufacturer is specialized in the construction of regatta boats combining performance and style. It all started in 1974 with the launch of the Grand Soleil 34 which was designed by the French prestigious yachts designer Finot. 18 years later, the firm launched one of its biggest works, the 64 Maxi One, in collaboration with the successful designer of racing and cruisingluxury yachts Bruce Kenneth Farr (New Zealand). Starting from 1997, Grand Soleil enjoyed a decade of continuous successes thanks to the special touch of the Slovenian yachts designer Japec Jakopin who worked on the Grand Soleil 46.3, Grand Soleil 37 and Grand Soleil 43 models. Since then, the company succeeded to establish itself as one of the world leaders in the construction of high performance cruising and racing boats thanks to its savoir faire and working philosophy. And of course thanks to the continuous collaboration with world class designers. Today the company's portfolio includes dozens of award winning cruising yachts including the Grand Soleil 37, Grand Soleil 39, Grand Soleil 40, GS 43, GS 46, GS 50, Grand Soleil 56 and many more. The good news is that many of these cruising boats are available for yacht charter with the Windward Islands Yachting Company. These icons of the yachting world are ready to take you to the next level and to enhance your next sailing vacations.
