Azimut Yachts is an Italian manufacturer of luxury yachts established in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli and is based near Turin in Avigliana, Italy. 1970 marked the start of the company's success by expanding its operations (distribution and the design of new yachts) in partnership with Amerglass. Then later in 1985 Azimut acquired Benetti. And by so a new era started, since this acquisition allowed the company to build its own yachts. Today Azimut Yachts is considered as one of the leaders in the design and build of luxury motor yachts in the market.
