Alan Weeks, skipper of the new Chris White-designed Atlantic 72 Catamaran Skylark, believes the yacht is ideal for anyone looking for an adventurous charter. Skylark was built in Rhode Island, and Weeks and his team are gearing up for her inaugural journey to the Caribbean
She is made to be operated by a small crew with ease and safety. Guests will find two king-bedded suites and two queen-bedded suites, as well as dedicated crew quarters and a galley constructed by an experienced chef with enough cold storage and professional appliances. A variety of cruising equipment, including as paddleboards, kayaks, and kiteboards, may be stored on deckhand forepeak storage.
Pounding is reduced because to excellent underwing clearance and a soft-riding hull shape. The cabin has been designed to provide cruising comfort both at sea and at anchor. A gourmet galley and dedicated work spaces, as well as ample living rooms ahead and aft, good ventilation and a covered watch-keeping station, all contribute to sailing pleasure.
The catamaran SKYLARK is a genuine high-performance catamaran. She sails well on the windward side, pointing high and tacking effortlessly. Fantastic sailing is achieved by combining a strong yet easy-to-handle sail design, effective underwater foils, and thin, easily driven hulls.
