8 days Sardinia and Corsica by Cannigione
Day 1 : Cannigione - Palau
After your arrival at Olbia airport (OLB), discover your boat and take the helm for Palau. Walk its surroundings, pine forests and rocky shores that make it famous. Do not miss to dive in the marine reserve of lavezzi, in search of the brown grouper, the star of the Corsican reefs.
Day 2 : Palau - Porto Vecchio (Corsica)
This long navigation will allow you to see the cities of Maddalena, Santa Maria and the island of Corcelli and watch the dolphins play with the boat. Drop anchor at Porto Vecchio or the "Salt City" and take your time to visit this historic city, its high city and its citadel through the charming church of Saint John the Baptist. In the evening, go down the harbor where you can stop to taste some specialties like figatellu.
Day 3 : Porto Vecchio - Gulf of Rondinara (Corsica)
Cape towards the south, to discover the gulf of Rondinara, elected first beach of France. You will quickly understand its reputation by discovering a circular bay lined with purple rocks and maquis whose charm also reaches the cows that come to hang out in the off-season.
Day 4 : Gulf of Rondinara - Bonifacio (Corsica)
Sail along the Gulf of Sant'Amanza to moor at Bonifacio. Discover this city built on the side of a cliff, admire its high ramparts fortifications, the view they release and defy the stairs of the King of Aragon, carved into the cliff. In the evening, borrow what the Bonifaciens call the "climb", and enjoy the play of light to which cliffs lend themselves.
Day 5 : Bonifacio - La Maddalena (Sardinia)
Head to Maddalena, an archipelago with clear waters well hidden. Moor at the port of Gala Gavetta and visit this charming and atypical small town. Go to Maddalena, capital of the island, admire these buildings with a particular architecture and stop at a bar / restaurant to discover the nightlife and Italian specialties such as crespelle.
Day 6 : La Maddalena - Caprera
Sail to Cala Portese, south-east of Caprera, passing by the islets of Barrettinelli. Explore the island, known for being the last home of Garibaldi, a leading figure in Italian history, visit his house, let yourself be surprised by the Italian charm and admire the sunset to the sounds of local music.
Days 7 & 8 : Caprera - Cannigione
When you reach Cannigione, go through the narrow passage that separates Isola Rossa and Isola della Pecora. Stop off at Porto Palma, protected by the Monte Fico Rock on the west and Punta Rossa Beach on the west, then anchor at the port of Cannigione. Discover this charming seaside village, stroll along the sandy beaches, visit its port full of history and enjoy the calm and authenticity of these places in one of the restaurants.
After a last swim in search of the Barracuda, disembark and return to Olbia airport (OLB).
