8 days to Pontine Islands from Gaeta to Capri
Day 1 : Gaeta - Ponza
Arrive at the Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO), reach your boat at the marina then head for Ponza, a crescent-shaped island, and anchor in front of the old village. After a picturesque arrival in the amphitheater of its port, animated by marine life and surrounded by colorful houses, let yourself be seduced by the numerous rocky coves, sandy beaches, caves and steep cliffs.
Day 2 : Ponza - Palmarola
In Ponza, discover the two main inhabited areas: the town of Ponza to the south and Forna to the north, then weigh anchor for lunch in one of the most beautiful bays, Chiaia di Luna. Sail to Palmarola, an ideal and charming place if you like solitude and wild nature. With an extremely steep coastline dotted with caves, bays, cliffs and rocks, the island offers spectacular views.
This lost and wild treasure island, popular with Romans for the weekend, is considered by many to be the most beautiful island in the Mediterranean. Discover Palmarola in the Jurassic era, with its lush vegetation, blue fluorescent waters and impressive underwater wildlife, then dive under the sunset into the golden and silver coves.
Day 3 : Palmarola -Ventotene
Leave for Ventotene, the smallest inhabited island of the Pontine Islands. Quiet place surrounded by crystal clear waters, the island offers visitors a holiday where they are one with nature, far from the hustle and bustle of cities. Let yourself be charmed by its extraordinary morphology, the wonderful smells of the Mediterranean, its intense colors and its exceptional hospitality.
Day 4 : Ventotene -Roman harbour - Ventotene
Exploring the island, discover its mystical dimension, relive centuries of history in a gentle rhythm and suspended without schedules or delays and then live a fascinating experience of contact with a preserved nature. After breakfast, visit the beautiful Roman port connecting the quays to Santa Candida Church Square and anchor at Ventotene.
Day 5 : Ventotene - Procida
At Procida, island with the image of the Mediterranean with its crystal clear waters and sandy coves, stroll along the ports and admire the colorful houses illuminated by the sun. Then rendezvous to the west of the island, discover the pontoon that connects the island to Vivara, its neighboring island and ancient crater, and dive into this nature reserve.
Day 6 : Procida - Ischia
Sail to Ischia, one of the largest islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Bay of Naples. Visit the old town, Ischia Ponte, and the newest, Ischia Porto, stroll along the beaches in the footsteps left by history then visit Casamicciola, Lacco Ameno, natural springs.
Day 7 : Ischia - Capri
While sailing towards Capri, make a lunch break in the bay next to Faraglioni. Lose yourself in the alleys of the main cities: Capri and Anacapri, hike to Certosa de SanGiacomo and the gardens of Augustus from where you will get a breathtaking view of the tip of Tragara and discover the natural arch and cave Matromania.
Day 8 : Capri
After a last bath Capre, disembark and return to the airport.
