15 days around northern Corsica from Ajaccio
Day 1 : Ajaccio
After you arrive at the airport and reach your boat, visit Napoleon Bonaparte's house. Stroll in the farmer's market and enjoy the incredible flavors and scents. Taste culinary specialties such as Corsican cheese.
Day 2 : Ajaccio - Arone handle
Leave the Gulf of Ajaccio and take the passage of Sanguinaires. It is part of the heritage of the island and the city. Have lunch in L'Anse de Lava before reaching L'Anse d'Arone, a bay lined with magnificent sandy beaches. Take impressive paths and access beautiful beaches, unspoiled tourism, and then dive into turquoise waters.
Day 3 : Arone handle - Girolata
Go to the anchorage of the Scandola nature reserve and enjoy the magnificent view of the red hills. Anchor in this exceptional place, Girolata Bay. A fortress overlooks it.
Visiting the charming isolated Corsican village and admire the mosaic of colors offered by the surroundings: the astonishing red color of the rocks, underlined by the green of the vegetation and the indigo of the sea.
Day 4 : Girolata - Calvi
Take advantage of this long offshore navigation to enjoy the most impressive scenery of the west coast and then anchor at the port of Calvi, in front of the "Citadel with pink roofs."
Visit the old town and its fortifications, and enjoy a drink in bars or restaurants with the locals.
Day 5 : Calvi - St Florent ou le désert des Agriates
Depart at dawn to the famous Desert Agriates, a mineral landscape carved by the vagaries of time, walk the beautiful customs trail and stroll through one of the many paradisiacal beaches.
To anchor, you have the choice: Alciolo Point, Anse Malfalco, Fiume Santu. In case of northwesterly wind, stay overnight in Saint Florent.
Day 6 : St Florent - Macinaggio
Anchor for Macinaggio, the largest marina of Cap Corse. Visit this charming hamlet surrounded by wild nature, visit its lively center, its windmills and discover the past of the town by visiting the castles, Genoese towers or even churches.
Day 7 : Macinaggio - Bastia
Sail in the breeze of the island to reach Bastia. Let yourself be charmed by its authenticity and Italian airs by visiting the old town and discovering its many traditions and taste specialties such as Migglicacci.
Day 9 : Bastia - Valle-di-Campoloro
Leaving towards Valle-di-Campoloro, beautiful villages surrounded by vineyards, go to Castagniccia and discover this impressive forest in which live trees over 400 years.
Day 9 : Campoloro - Solenzara
Sail downwind towards Solenzara, where you have to stay a mile from the coast due to shallow water. In Solenzara, you can make your provisioning.
Visit this flowery city. It has a surprising former stable church. Stroll on the historic beach of the village, Scaffa Rosa, and then sit on one of the terraces along the harbor and enjoy the city's animation.
Day 10 : Solenzara - Porto-Novo
Rendez-vous in Porto-Novo, a mountainous coast, paying attention to the different reefs south of Porto-Vecchio.
Throw anchor in this beautiful secluded anchorage, swim in this sport, away from the crowds, and then take the trail north of the bay and reach outstanding views and surprising spots.
Day 12 : Porto Novo - Lavezzi Islands
Go to the Lavezzi Islands and drop anchor at Cala Lazarina, a bay known to be the place where Semillante sank. Admire this unique landscape made of granite and dive into various underwater grounds to see a vast diversity of fish breeds.
Day 12 : Lavezzi islands - Bonifacio
Once arrived at Bonifacio, sail in the famous "mouths" of the city, the largest French nature reserve. You will be amazed by the landscape of limestone cliffs.
Swim with Mediterranean species, wet the port of Bonifacio, located at the bottom of a long cove lined with two impressive hills, and visit the old town in Napoleon's footsteps.
Day 13: Bonifacio - Campo Moro
Lunch at Tizzano port, known for its lobsters, head to the west of the bay, next to the tower. Mistral chose the anchorage of Porto Pollo north of the Gulf near the archaeological site of Filitosa (accessible by taxi).
Discover Campomoro and its architectural heritage, including its famous Genoese tower, witnessing the arrival of pirates on the island.
Day 14: Campo Moro - Ajaccio
After lunch at the foot of Cap Muro in Anse de Cacao, located in the middle of nature, return to the imperial city and disembark.
