Provisioning for a yacht charter in Martinique is great. Giant supermarkets offer an array of produce, both local and European. Fresh fruits and vegetables, wonderful cheeses, pates, meat and seafood are enough of an attraction that many charter yachts provision here.

Once you've exhausted the charming sites of the islands, take your charter in another direction. Experience the excitement of blue-water sailing by heading south to St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Diving in Martinique

The average monthly temperatures in Martinique remain remarkably stable, varying by only about 5° year-round. This stability is attributed to the tradewinds which bring refreshing breezes from the northeast throughout the year. December through May is the dry season, while June through November is considered the more humid season. Average air temperatures in coastal areas range from 22° to 30° C (72° to 86° F) which allow yacht charter in Martinque all year long.

We spent a week in La Martinique on our catamaran, lots of wonders to be discovered from the south side to the north one (the rainforests and especially the unique black sand beaches!!!)... One more thing, avoid Fort-de-France ;)
