When you imagine a catamaran, you may think of regattas and sports performance. But Lagoon Seventy 7 combines technological advancements with luxury and comfort. She is a cruising catamaran with lavish features to enjoy seaside life.
Autumn 2016 saw the birth of the Lagoon fleet’s flagship, SEVENTY 7, an icon in the world of yachting that is built to the highest standards to ensure comfortable and safe sailing.
There is something extraordinary about the form that is more streamlined and elegant than ever before. The minimalist lines mean that owners can enjoy stunning views from the interior and the deck.
The style and minimalist lines continue with the stepped area’s symmetry at the back of the boat. The low profile hulls curve neatly onto a beautiful deck with a lot to offer.
Patrick le Quément, the architect of the multihull, explained how he created the luxury catamaran.
‘‘Sailing, living on board, is a succession of moments spent in the company of people you like. We imagined what these moments might be according to the various scenarios of use: family boating, friends, charter… But also how to accommodate the presence of the crew that such a vessel requires.’’
A powerful superyacht
Measuring more than 35 meters in length, Lagoon SEVENTY 7 is the largest sailing catamaran ever built by Lagoon Catamaran. She also has “the DNA of a superyacht”, something that makes her unique in both style and function.

She has an exterior area of nearly 200 m2 (2,152 sq. ft). The massive flybridge affords an impressive additional living space, while remaining an integral part of the boat. It is a the third outdoor social gathering space aboard.
The forward cockpit layout allows to enjoy the yacht in all privacy with sofas and day beds. The aft platform is versatile: beach club, relaxation area, and tender lift.
Luxurious and elegant interiors
Created by Nauta Design, the interior is surprisingly spacious and full of features for something so small and minimal. The idea here is that owners can have all the privacy they need in the partitioned bedrooms and bathroom areas.
Yet, there is also plenty of space for entertaining guests with the living area and kitchen area. The interiors have a homely feel with plenty of storage and magnificent panoramic views over the water.
SEVENTY 7 has the same dimension as a tennis court! She holds a spacious salon on the main deck, a dining space, a bar, a navigation area, and a private saloon, which are all separate and connected at the same time.
The master stateroom stretches over a 35 meter-square-space. It is probably the most sophisticated retreat on board of this fine yacht. Besides the dressing room and the vast bathroom, it features its own hydraulically activated balcony with a breathtaking view over the sea.
The VIP cabin is also not less charming than the other areas and is fully equipped. It provides a queen-sized bed, a beautiful wooden desk, and many storage areas where you can store personal items.
Lagoon SEVENTY 7 exists in more than one version, from 3, 4 to 5 cabins. The galley is always connected to crew quarters.
The Lagoon Sixty 7 is proof that good things come in small packages.
