Climate
The climate of the Caribbean is tropical with local variations, depending on mountain elevation, water currents, and the trade wind. Temperatures are almost always moderate with very little seasonal variation.
Temperatures in the Caribbean are not significantly variable as they range from around 28°C (85°F) in July-August to around 24°C (75°F) in January-February.

|  |  |  |  |  |  | The Turks and Caicos are geographically contiguous to the Bahamas and, like them, have long been a part of the British Commonwealth. But unlike the Bahamas, they remain so. Over all, it is a prosperous nation undergoing a huge growth spurt in the economy, with tourism and vacation homes for international residents.
Situated on a large coral reef system just down-island from the Bahamas, the main center of population and business is Providenciales, known as “Provo.” The climate is generally warmer in winter than in the Bahamas, and temperate at other times of year. The islands have justifiably earned a reputation as being among the most magnificent yacht charter and snorkeling destinations in the world.
