Climate
The climate in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is tropical, there is not much variation in temperature which is around 85° F, 28° C. ?The islands are located in the path of the Easterly Tradewinds. This is what makes the Windward Islands a perfect sailing destination.

|  |  |  |  |  |  | St. Vincent is a nation of many islands in the eastern Caribbean. The Grenadines consist of more than 30 islands and hundreds of rocks, sandbars and cays. Fewer than a dozen of the Grenadine islands are populated.
The northern part of St. Vincent is mountainous. Parts of the area are accessible only by boat. The highest peak is La Soufrière an active volcano. Most of St. Vincent's inland is tropical rainforest, where banana and coconut palms grow. In the coastal waters, there are sea urchins, turtles and numerous species of fish.
The largest and most developed island of the Grenadines, Bequia, is only 18 square kilometres. Canouan is famous for its beautiful white beaches. The Tobago Cays are surrounded by coral reefs. Some islands of the Grenadines, like as Mustique, Mayreau and Palm Island, are largely private resorts.
The Lagoon Hotel and Marina on the southern tip of the island, enjoys a delightful, protected anchorage, perfectly positioned for your sail south and for land trips around St.Vincent. There is a swimming pool and an excellent supermarket for provisioning.
