Canarreos Archipelago : Sailing in the west of Cuba from Cienfuegos and Trinidad will take you through the Canarreos Archipelago, a stretch of small to medium sized islands. On your way you can even stop off for a spot of horse riding ! 'Playa Sirena', the most beautiful beach in the area, the turtle and crocodile farms and the natural pools at Cayo Rico are well worth a visit.
Cienfuegos : Cienfuegos has a commercial harbour with a tourist marina very close to the French style centre and an environment of many cultural and natural attractions. Cienfuegos is a hub of activity for shopping or just soaking up the Cuban culture. The city is dubbed the Pearl of the South. Enjoy the beauty of its rich architectural heritage from the XIXth century.
The Gardens of the Queen : The cruising area Trinidad and Cienfuegos is vast and made up of many islands most of which are uninhabited. Sailing eastward stop at Cayo Blanco, a small island with a restaurants, sandy beach and coral reefs. Then travel on to the Archipelago de los "Jardines de la Reina", a protected area that is perfect for diving, you will be sailing mainly with local lobster fishermen who will happily propose you freshly caught lobster !
Trinidad : Trinidad is a colonial style city, located in the centre of the south coast of Cuba, it is the best-preserved historical city of Cuba, restored to its XVIth century apparel to become an UNESCOs World Heritage.
