Ajaccio is attractive for its old town, relaxing cafés and the views of its glorious bay. Bonifacio : Many consider the south of Corsica and Bonifacio to be the most beautiful part of the island. Characteristic of Bonifacio is its setting, high on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Bonifacio is also the ideal starting location to explore the Bonifacio channel and Lavezzi Islands in Sardinia, which are now classified as a natural reserve. Calvi : On the northeast shore of Corsica lies Calvi with its 13th-century citadel with three bastions and long ramparts and the beautiful beaches of l'Ile Rousse.You will find plenty of restaurants and cafés on the seafront walkway between the marina and the commercial harbour.
